that the telegraphic communications of the load firm with the

Branches have been greatly delayed or stopped by the Censor.

This measure is of course very prejudicial to that concern

and Monsieur Carlin has the honour to ask Sir Edward Grey to

kindly recommend the case for re-comideration by the proper

Authorities in order to obtain, if possible, that the cables

exhanged between the Zurich, Shanghai and Yokohama Establish-

-mente of Messrs. Pfister may be allowed to be forwarded to

their destination within the time normally taken for the tram -

-mission of such communications.
