We are in receipt of your esteemed letter of 24th inst.
contents of which we duly note, and your proposal seems us to be
the most appropriate.
We further noted that you have instructed Messrs.
Eichwede & Schroeder, Tsingtan, to draw upon us an amount of £ 3,000
for your account at the time of shipment of the goods indicated by
you, and we take it that we shall receive from you special advice
relating thereto.
We further note from your letter that in the event

It is customary with us when granting credite to
firms established at different places to make it a condition of
asking all the establishments for a written declaration of their co-

you, for regularity's sake, to confirm to us that you are jointly responsible for the lien oredit in favour of your Hongkong House, May we also aks you to request your Hongkong House to send us a gimilar
