With reference to your note of the 24th
instant, Xo. 53445/X, in which you transmitted
a copy of a telegram received from Hr. Ross
(Ban Francisco), I am instructed by the Director
of the Far Trade Department to state for the
information of Lord Robert Geoil that this
Department has no objection to the export from
Hong Kong to San Frangisoo of the 300 bags of
Peanuts to which reference is made in the telegram.
