Sir,
With reference to your letter No.20936/16 of 8th May,
and to the enclosed copies of telegraphic correspondence
with the Governor of Hong Kong, I am commanded by the Army
Council to state for the information of Mr. Secretary Bonar
Law that Sir David Henderson, having consulted his Committee,
agrees to Sir F.May's proposals as contained in his telegram
of May 2nd, and I am to suggest that a reply should be
made in the following terms.
11 If the Colony of Hong Kong will contribute to the
Royal Flying Corps Hospital the amount suggested, the
principal ward will now he named after Hong Kong, and when
the Hospital is extended to admit other ranks besides
officers, the Extension will be be named after the Colony.
Two members of Hong Kong Committee would be co-opted now.
