General Lung proposes to build a fort on Dog Head

Hill near the five storeyed Pagoda, Canton, also one at

Tai Sha Tau and Chai Pao Station on the Kowloon-Canton

Railway.

The "Manila Times" of the 13th December states

that the General Staff has just made public its plans

for a mobile army in the Philippines, increasing the

number of troops there by more than 100%.

The future strength of the Philippine establishment

will consist of an American force made up of a full

division of Infantry, two regiments of Cavalry and one

regiment of heavy Field Artillery.
