Fely to Lr. Grindle's letter of the 6th instant, 47587/1916), I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of His Lajesty's Treasury to request you to inform hr. Secretary Bonar law that They agree that revenue devoted by the Government of Hongkong to the payment of interest and sinking fund upon the loan raised in connection with the contribution made by that Government towards the cost of the war may be deducted from the revenue assessable to military contribution.
