Sir,
I have laid before the Lords Commissioners of
His Majesty's Treasury Mr. Grindle's letter of the
8th instant (42531/1916), enclosing copy of a telegram from the Governor of Hong Kong relative to the proposed
flotation of a loan in the Colony.
In reply I am to say that My Lords concur in
the terms of the reply which Mr. Bonar Law proposes to
send to the Governor of Hong Kong.
