(2833/1916) relative to the application of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation for permission to deposit £25,000 India 2% Stock in exchange for £15,400 East India Railway 4% Debenture Stock now held by the Crown Agents for the Colonies as part of the security for the Bank's Note Issue in Hong Kong.
In reply I am to request you to inform Mr. Secretary Bonar Law that My Lords will raise no objection to the proposed exchange.
