Mimited were advised by their Solicitors that Mr. Munten bad
the power to constitute himself a Branch of Siemens Brothers
Dynamo Works, Limited, without their consent, and that he a 2ili
hot thus dive: himself of his connection with Siemens-Schuch
werke..
Siemens Brothers Dynamo Works, Limited, did not desire
have a Branch in Hongkong carried on in their name, and both
and Siemens Brothers & Company, Limited, thereupon withdrew -
Powers of Attorney from Mr. Munton, by cable on the 17th Ju
1915, confirming the withdrawal in writing, and sending sc.."
revocations.
O the 5th March 1915, Mr. Munton wrote to the effeci,
that he was trading Lador the name of the Siemens China Ele
al Engineering Company, and that he had no connection with the
Siemens China Company or with Siemens Brothers Dynamo Works I
or with Sierens Brothers & Company, Limited, and Siemens China
Company, Thanghai, (the Branch of Siemens-Schucker twerko, Perl
wrote on the 12th March 1715 to Siemens Frothers Dynamo Works
Limited, that they had authorised Mr. Munton to take over the
whole of their business in Hongkong, and carry on trade under
Subsequently, on the 10th August, 1915, Mr. hunte
sent a certified copy of the Certificate of Incorporation of
Ciemens China Electrical Engineering Company (Hongkong) Limit
own name.
I obtained the above information from Siemens Proth
Dynamo Works, Limited, in March and April1916, and from this clear that Siemens China Electrical Engineering Company (Hons)
Limited, has no connection with either Siemens Brothers & Co
Limited, or Siemens Brothers Dynamo Works,Limited, although
believe that both Siemens Brothers & Company, Limited, and
Siemens Prothers Dynamo Works, Limited, are executing a few orders
for that Company.
