of pressing on His Majesty's Government, at the present time, any step involving legislation, or other action for the further control of the manufacture of cocaine in the United Kingdom, It is, however, desirable that the Government of India should keep themselves informed of any development of cocaine production in other countries, such as Japan, which might lead to an increase in the illicit supply to India, and I am, therefore, to request that they may be furnished, from time to time, with such information as may be obtained in
regard to fresh sources of supply.
