Sir:-
I am directed by Viscount Grey of Fallodon to
transmit to you herewith a copy of a note with enclosures in original from the Belgian Minister relative to the desire of the Manufacture de Verres à Vitres, Glaces
et Verres Speciaux du Nord de Charleroi to obtain per-
mission to forward one thousand cases of glass to the
Holland China Trading Company in HongKong.
Lord Grey requests that he may be informed at an
early date whether these goods may be shipped to Hong-
sriginal Kong and that the enclosures may be returned to him
