Hon. Sir:
We are in receipt of cable advice from
our Shippers, The Union Trading Company, Hong-Kong,
informing us that prohibition has been imposed on
the export shipment of ground nuts from that port.
Enclosed find translation of the cable
which is self explanatory.
We are also enclosing a guarantee in a
form required by the British Government, and ask
you to please cable Hong Kong accordingly so our
shippers can prodeed to fill the contracts already
made with us.
We will advise you of the buyers of the
pea-nuts and probably before the goods arrive in
San Francisco.
