With reference to my telegram No.77
It is reported that Government troops have recaptured
Failfu and are penetrating the frontier of Yanan
both from Kuangsi and also from Szechuan at a point
north west of Yunan Fu where His Majesty's Consul
General reports that an influential party are
plotting against rebel leaders. It now appears that the progress of the rebellion has been checked.
This has been repeated to India Tokio and Hong Kong.
