Gentlemen,

Green Cottage,

The Lizard,

Cornwall. December 14th 1916.

>

I beg most respectfully to state that,

my pension papers are dated from commencement of service

25th June 1892, whereas it should begin to count time

for pension under the Hong kong Minute, dating my

commencement of service from the date of my original

embrakation for the Colony, viz., 23rd April 1892 which

is strictly in accordance with my agreement.

I therefore beg respectfully to point out

that, my length of Hong Kong service for pension should

count 28 instead of 27 years as stated on my pension

papers.

I enclose duplicate with reference to same.

I have, etc.,

(Sd) Charles E.Nicholas.
