RE JAMES EDWARD BAKER, LATE A SERGEANT OF POLICE

HONG KONG.

I beg to inform you that the above named a

Police Pensioner of £46. 0.3. per annum, was on the

18th ultimo admitted to this workhouse Infirmary and

on the 22nd. ultimo was transferred to the Portsmouth

Lunatic Asylum, chargeable to the Guardians of this

Parish.

Will you be so good as to forward the

necessary certificate, to enable Mrs. Baker (his wife)

to draw her husband's pension monthly, to pay the

Guardians claim of 4/- per week.
