Mr. Tayler is a pharmaceutical chemist, the
qualifications for which are as follows:- The period of study
required extends over two years frem October te Jure and in
the second year frem Ootaber te Karoh. Such a person is
trained for carrying on the business of a pharmacist in order
te regulate the practice of pharmoy -(dispensing of Drugs &c)
This standard is different from, and net equal to, the training
required før becoming an aralyet er fer the general chemical
work of such a laboratory as this one. For example, he is ret
traired in the examination of motels ard ores, of water
aralysis; and that of feeds, liquere, &c., medicele gel werk.
The result is that a pharmacortical chemist would have to de
his best to thread his way through by means of boek verk.
Mr. Devey's quæpificatier is the Associateship
of the Royal College of Scierce, Lender. The coures of study
extended in his time ever t years and is new a four years'
Kr. Dovey took an extra year in the study of advanced
inorganic chemistry and feed analysis. The course of study
includes all branches of chemistry as well as mineralogy and
the examinatier and identification of minerals, water aralysis,
the analysis of feede, peisens, electre-szalysis, beeldes
much other general scientific werk.
Mr. Davey had 20 menths' work in the Chemical
Department of the Bureau of Sçience, Marils (Vids 2)

Since March 1915 he has been in charge of this
laberatery and his work has included the analysis of eres
and metals, feeds, water, liquers and medioslegal werk. Hie
duties have been performed satisfactorily and the work dere
in the laberatery has increased osnsiderably in recent years.
