Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Deportation Ordinan-
-ee, 1917, sani shal, be reaŭ su camstrued as one with the Deportation Oruin,noes, 1912-191b, ma tne said Ordinances and this Ordinance may be cited together as the Deportation Ordinances, 1912 to 1917.
2. Sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Deportation Ordinance, 1912, as macted by Section 2 of the Deportation Ordinance, 1914, is amended by the addi- -tion of the words * whether a British subject or not", after the word "person" in the third line thereof.
3. Paragraph (s) of sub-section (12) of section 4 of the
Deportation Ordinances, 1912, as enacted by section 2
of the Deportation Ordinance, 1914, and as amended by Section 3 of the Deportation Ordinance, 1915, is repealed.
4. Every deportation erder issued against a British
subject shall be reported forthwith to the Secretary of State.
