In compliance with the instructions contained in paragraph 2 of your Confidential Circular Despatch (2) of the 20th. September, 1916, I have the honour to report that 1 case containing French Silk/cotton nets shipped by S.S. "Magellan" on the 25th. April last from Marseilles and marked

5142 has been allowed to go forward to the consignees, Messrs. Otto Gmür y Cia. of Manila. This firm was placed on the Statutory list on the 30th. June last.

I am also informed that 4 cases of oilcloth from Messrs. Ja■. Williamson & Son of Lancaster marked 5135/38 were shipped on the 10th. September last per S.S. "Keemun" from Liverpool under special licence of the Foreign Trade Department at London No. 58983/45X of 6th. July, 1916 consigned to the same firm. These cases have not yet been traced but they will be permitted to go forward when they arrive.
