Your telegram of 20th October. Censor reports that no letter has been opened here addressed to Secretary of Navy, Washington. Two letters were opened and returned to sender during July as follows, Harrison, Shanghai, to Proverisch, Manila, and Harrison to Stahl & Rumcker. These letters were removed from ordinary mails as they were addressed to Statutory List firms and returned in accord- ance with instructions in force at the time. They con- tained remittances. Harrison not given in directory es dental surgeon of the "Brooklyn" but there is one of that
name at Alongapo who may have been on the "Brooklyn" at the time.
