Report on the services of the FONG KONG VOLUFTER RESERVE

Strength 1st August 1914: about 150 members Strength 1st October, 1918:- 11 officers, 329 other ranks.
The Hong Kong Volunteer Reserve was mobilized at the out.
break of war and has been employed on various garrison duties and
equally with the Hong Kong Volunteer Corps have furnished qarde
at the prisoners of war camb cable and wireless atationa. During
the first six weeks of the war 100 men were quartered nightly in
the City and subsequently 100 men at the forner German Club for
some 2 months.

I desire to bring to notice the following nomes:-
JOR GEORGE HENRY WAKEHAN.
Commended the Volunteer Reserve at the outbreak of the war and has contimed to do so with zeal and efficiency ever since. Much extra work has fellen upon him during the war,
CAPTAIN GEORGE KINGSTON HALL BRITTON.
Appointed Adjutant in Jime 1015 and has ever since shown much zeal and energy in the general training and work of the Reserve.
