With reference to your tele, ram of „ctober the thirteenth, hivor Transport for esopotamia. heyret cannot spare any members of crews of the
Government launches. Local Naval suthorities with
assistance of Colonial Government are recruiting skilled Chinese labour for service in -esopotamia
for the Indian Government and the Indian kivor Craft
Buard. Suggest that the men er uffice now require should be recruited by Colonial Government at best
possible rates, with help of the Naval Authorities.
I could report rates of wayan as son as I ascertain what rates will induce men to take up this work.
