During the last week 8 cases of a disesse
elinically resembling Cholera have occurred. 4 of these
Olses arrived together on Sunday by beat from Kacas and
all died. in ene case the Bacteriologist certifies that
the Cholera bacilles was present; I have no doubt that all
4 siasa were trus Chelare. The 4 men were members of a
theatrical company which left Hongkong en August 9th. in as
far as can be learned a healthy state. I an informed that
d of the sans company were removed to Hospital at Kaoke
on Sunday 18th. of the other 4 cases 2 occurred in Kowloon
ene being notified as Cholera by the medical attendant. Th
other two at opposite ends of Hengkeng- one of the latter
was certified by the Baošariologist as cholera.
