Arthur Edward Davey, aged 41, Assistert Harbour Kaster,
was sānitted into the Government Civil Hospital on August 9, 1916.

Họ has usually had good health, but for the
27 months has been steadily lesing weight, and has bad
digestive troubles. Latterly be weed to get tired very easily-
becouse breathises on slight exertion, suffers from palpitation,
sometimes has pain in the left chest and has constant headaches
and insomnia.
Condition en Admission
Is emaciated and drawn and has a sallow celeur –
the arteries are all rigid, these on the forehead stend out like
whip cards- Bleed tension high.
Cardiac dulness much increased outwards and
downwards - Aosien of heart in feroible and thumping.
Midway between the Xiphi sternum and the umbilicus
is a palpable and visible tumour, which shows distinotly when
he lies down. It is tense - dull or percussion, and there is
a knobby roughneen on the surface.
It can be traced under the left costal margin and is smooth- The bulk of the swelling is to the left side,
a very small part of it oresses the middle line to the right- There is pulsation in it, heaving but zet distinctly expansile. Iša size is apparently that of a fist, but its lever margin cannot be defined,
Liver duizeze normal, begins above at level of Eth. rib. There is a resonant area as subcostal angis.
