With reference to paragraph 2 of Your Excellency's
letter, 1 in 5197/1911 of 20th March 1916, I shall be very much obliged if you would inform me what the terms and conditions of purchasing the Lots in question under the Crown Lands Re- sumption Ordinance would be.

I should be glad to know approximately the amount of money which would be involved in the acquisition, by the Admiralty on the terms you mention, of either the two, four, or six lots marked on the plan which accompanied my previous
letter.

On the receipt of your reply, I will immediately
refer the whole matter to the Admiralty for their instructions.
