Referring to the concluding paragraph of my
despatch No. 42 of the 4th February, 1915, I have the honour to request that steps may, if possible, be taken to transfer
to some other Colony Wardmasters S. P. Leigh, J. 0. Kille, and C. D. De Haney, as owing to the introduction of Chinese Dressers their services are no longer required by the Medical Department of Hongkong.

The age of these men is 28, 29, and 37 years respectively and their service under this Government dates,
Leigh from the 8th October, 1910, Kille from the 26th February, 1910, and De Haney from the 21st September, 1907. They all bear
good characters.
3.
The departure of these officers to England was
29074/reported in my despatches No. 180 of the 12th May, 1916, No.237
72// of the 30th June, 1915, and No.256 of the 28th June, 1916. 408 Leigh and Kille have joined the Army, and De Haney proposes to
enlist.
