The Colonial Secretary, Hongkong, presents his
compliments to the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies,
and has the honour to request that the figures *1888" in the sixth line of Sir F. H. May's Despatch No. 244 of the 15th. June, 1916, may be altered into "1878", the former having been inserted
through an oversight.
