It will be within the recollection of the above that a series of
letters was recently addressed to the Colonial Secretary with
regard to the special clauses in Sand Bales here and their
interpretation by the Public Works Separtment, The final
reply of the Colonial Bearstary appeared to be satisfactory, and
the signatories with-drew their request that the correspondence
should be forwarded to London.
Wet-with-standing this, a case has just new spKzEYEć decurred in
our own practice shikh which is typical of the cmditions that
were complained of; and we propose to refer the matter to the
Secretary of State for the Gelonies. Is there any objection en
the part of any of the over-mentioned to the whole aerrespondence
to which they were parties being new sent home as part of our gaze ?
