In the first place you make objection to the special condition in the recent auations of five specified lots that the design of any building shall be subject to the special approval of the Directer of Public Terks; and, while taking ne areoption to the principle that it may be desirable in special cases for the Government to have power to control the character of buildings te be erected on a particular site, you ask that in such cases the class of house, and the height allowed shall be definitely stated in the conditions of sale.
