Corps Armourer G.N.Avenell left the Colony on nine months Home leave on 30. 3. 16, after ten years continuous Service.
Medical Staff
Surgeon Captain G.D.R.Black was promoted to Surgeon Major on 7.7.15 and has continued to do duty at the Military Hospital, Bowen Road,
in addition to his Volunteer duties.
Artillery Battery
Second Lieutenant W.E. Osborn, Bombay Volunteer Artillery (late Lieutenant, New Zealand Garrison Artillery), was attached to the Battery on 10. 3. 16.
Engineer Company
Engineer Lieutéant F.F. James, R.N.R.was attached to the Engineer Co. with the relative rank of Captain on 14.9.15 and has taken his turn with the other officers of the Company on duty with the Search lights. Honorary Second Lieutenant R.J.Stevenson was promoted to Second Lieutenant on 20.5.15 and to Lieutenant on 4.1.16.
Machine Gun Company
Lieutenant H.W.B.Kennett was appointed to command the Right Seation from lat Sept.1915. Second Lieutenant R.E.Lindsell, Civil Service Company, was promoted to Lieutenant on 25.5.15.
Scouts Company
Second Lieutenant L.F.Murphy was promoted to Lieutenant on 25.5.15. Lieutenant A.M.Preston, 4th Cheshire Regiment,was attached to the
Company 3. 5. 15.
Private J.Bentley was promoted to Temporary Second Lieutenant on 9.2.15 and was seconded for duty at the Frisoners of War Camp. He resigned his Commission on 30.1.16.
Private F.H.Baker resigned on 22.12.15,on receiving a Commission as Temporary Second Lieutenant R.G.A.
