I am just now in receipt of a telegram from Shiu
Hing which says that
he put off his
departure to Japan. Colonel # also telegraphed
me to ask r if he will not be able to postpone
his departure till the 7th inst, as the Colonel is
coming here expressly to see him. Any reply he gives
me will be sent him by wire,
