on an Ordinance intituled an Ordinance to provide for the punishment of Incest.

The object of this ordinance is to introduce the provisions
of the Punishment of Incest Act, 1908, which it closely follows.
The only difference of substance is in the age limit in section
2 and this difference is necessitated by the terms of section 6
of the Women and Girls Protection Ordinance, 1897,
In my opinion this is an Ordinance to which His Excellency
the Governor may properly assent in the name of His Majesty and
on His behalf.
