Your telegram 29th April. I gather that His Majesty's Government attitude is one of non interference so long as British life and property are not endangered

and I am doubtful if our interest in the railway could properly be held to come within above category.

Apart from this and on....................... grounds I feel some hesitation in recommending a step which might set an example of intervention to others.

I have however no objection to your submitting the question to His Majesty's Government for consideration on its merits.
