Sir,

Compass adjusting.

At the last interview I had you said I had better write in, needless to say I regret doing so, as you said that you had gone thoroughly into the matter, but as I feel the injustice

of this more now than years ago, I now realise the mistake I have

made in not going to H. E, the Governor years ago i.e. when the

H. Master told me that he had got permission from the Government to readjust ships compasses if ship captains should ask for such

a man.

If the last interview with you had resulted in any

improvement I should not have written this, but going to the H.

Master as I have done so often does not; or so far as not given

any satisfaction, as he only schemes by promises which apparently he does not intend to carry out, therefore long years of patience is about exhausted and I feel more than ever the injustice of his being allowed to do this work simply because he, the H. Master got permission from the Government as (afr back as 1907 or 1908

I may not be correct as to above year, I am corredt in stating

that it has been a loss of several thousand dollars to the writer ".

I am, etc.,

(SD.) T. P. Hall.
