RECS

REGE MAY 16!

GOVERNMENT HOUSE.

HONGKONG. 14th. March, 1916.

sir,

43011

With reference to my Confidential Despatch of

the 26th. July, 1915, I have the honour to transmit for your in-

-formation a copy of a further letter I have addressed to His

Britanic Majesty's Minister at Peking relating to the junction of

the Conton-Kowloon Railway with the Canton-Hankow (Yueh Han)

Railway.

The procrastination exhibited by the Yueh Hon

Railway is a very serious impediment to the improvement of traffic

on the Kowloon-Canton Railway and it is desirable to arrive at a

definite understanding on the matter without delay.

I have the honour to be,

Sir,

Your most obedient,

humble servant,

Doma

Governor,&c..

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE

ANDREW BONAR LAW, M.P.,
