Praal nation by Chan Kwing Ming, rutwh of Kwang Tung and Xarshal General of the Republican Army.
The people of this country being tired of a Monarchical Government, the first revolution took place at Wucheong and Hankow in 1911, which succeeded in a period of 3 months. When Yuen was made President, he declared that he would do what a Republic ountry might require; but he soon neglected his declara- -tion. We then had a rising in 1913 but in vain. Since then he has grow more cruel, raising public bonds, selling the rights of railways, reinstating gambling and selling opium. In addition to these, he new endeavours to make himself Emperor of the
country, so as to put an end to our long-desired Kepublicanism.
Yum is, therefore, our public ■ many and all who
syʊpathise with Republic, should join us to exterminate him.
