status of Aliens Act, 1914.

The Right Honourable the Secretary of State signified his
approval of the introduction of this Ordinance in his despatch
338/% of the 22nd October, 1915.
The only difference between the Ordinance as passed and
the bill as submitted is in the third item in the Schedule where
the use of overembossed revenue stamps has been directed instead of the use of adhesive stamps.
In my opinion this is an Ordinance to which His Excellency the Governor may properly assent in the name of His Majesty and
on His behalf.
