"In July (shortly before the Proclamation) Max Mittag of Shanghai a German firm on the Black List were in communication with Gy▪i and Kleinjung, Manchester. Since the Proclamation Kleinjung was
ent out to Shanghai, apparently to start a new firm. On 22.10.15 Gysi Manchester telegraphed to Kleinjung, Shanghai, "Before establishing new firm wait receipt of deed poll for you by mail 4th. November". It seem that the deed poll arrived, and Kleinjung took the name of Andrey and has sent and received telegrams in that name. Whether or not he succeeded in establing the new firm I do not know; but on 3.12.15 he wired under the name of Andrew to Gysi, Kleinjung, Hanchester, "Do not consider situation hopeless but require discussion I propose return ing next Tuesday, via Siberia". On 6.12.15 he wired to Humphreys, Honkong
"Leaving via Siberia tomorrow". It would seen therefore that the new
firm, if already started, has not begin operations, Besides Humphrey, the following Hongkong residents are interested in Andrew:- Bakkhouse,
