I am informed that one John Hinton with
2 female accomplices left Marseilles with ten or twelve large trunks full of opium on board S.S. "Mishima "Maru" on the 30th October. Following is |description given of Hinton :- English Jew of about 41 years 5 ft. 9 in. in height, red faced with scar over left side of his nose; it might be well to inform shanghai,if steamer has proceeded.
