With reference to Mr Read'a letter of the 20th instant
(No.47994/15) and enclosure on the subject of the
exportation of Tin and Motor and bicycle Tyres from
Hong Kong to French Indo-China, I am directed by the
Rubber and Tin Exports Committee to state, for the
information of Mr Secretary Bonar Law, that they see
no objection to general authority being delegated to the
Governor of Hong Kong to permit such exportations on
conditions similar to those already laid down in the
case of export to China.
