We do not think we can add anything to the infor- mation given in our letters of 29th April and 3rd May,
countries we propose to supply from Hongkong are China and For-
mosa only.
The
Singapore. We supply Wax and/or Candles from Singapore to all parts of the world but the object of our letters of 29th April
and 3rd May was to obtain relaxation of the restrictions in res-
pect more particularly of certain countries in regard to which
we felt justified in making such a request. These countries
are those specified in our previous letters, namely, Siam
Indo-China, Philippine Islands, China, Japan and Korea, and
Biberia.
As previously explained, we have a regular trade
in wax in all these countries and in candles with the first
