Judgment has been delivered, in the Shanghai Wized Court, in the case of three Chinese who were arrested on Coteber 18th in connection with an alleged German plot to send arns and ammunition to India,

One prisoner was discharged, a second bound ever, and a third sentenced to three month's imprisonment, the British assessor declaring that the pist wherein prisoners were engaged was intended to stir up sedition in India - although they were the dupes of an unscrupulous rogue, (referring to the German, kielsen, mentioned in the case).

The "North China Daily Neva", in an editorial thie morning, remarks that, in spite of the strenuous efforts of the German authorities, sufficient evidence was forthcoming to mEJEN it clear that the enemies of Great Britain resident in Shanghai have been flagrantly abusing the privileges accorded to foreigner in China. They have been guilty of a serious breach of the neutrality of China in making Shanghai a depot from which the export of munitions to India could be carried on. This calls for an immediate protest from China.
