reference to the 1st instalments of the Diary for July and August 1915, the Central Government has now planned to enlarge works of the Hanyang Arsenal and make it the central arsenal of China with Admirul disa Chan Ping as General Kanazer, 411 mashinery for making guns has been removed from Shanghai te Hanyang, and sentracts with Germany and Ameries for the supply of new machines are expected shortly. The Government has also decided to stop up the lakes situated on the side of the arsenal and build boiler rooms on the new ground as three engine rooms are found to be insufficient.
