With reference to my 188 of yesterday. It has been pointed out by good unofficial legal advice that though the evasion of the censorship has not been proclaimed a crime, and this fact might be brought up, still as it is impossible for me to have proclaimed all crimes which might be committed against section 40 of the Army Act, and the man is subject to military law, it is unlikely that the finding of a court- martial would be quashed by any civil court.
