I have the honour to transmit, for your information
copies of letters, dated August 30 (3) and September 6,
which I have received from the Hong Kong Chamber of
Commerce on the subject of enemy firms now in liquidatic
in Hong Kong and the methods which they are employing
with the purpose of holding their business together until
such time as they may be allowed to resume.
I might add that whilst there are obvious
objections to the publication broadcoast of the particula
given in these communications, I am taking steps to place
the same at the disposal of selected firms to whom such
details may be useful.
