Mr.Lynch is asking kr. Harcourt a Question

in the House tomorrow relating to the Japanese demands affecting South-Eastern China. The Foreign Office want to see the reply which Er.Harcourt pronoses to make. He intende to say

"I would refer the Honourable Kember to the

"Anewer given by the Secretary of State for *Foreign Affairs on the 20th April. It is not "possible for me to add anything to the state- "ment made by my Right Honourable Friend". Will you kindly let me know by telephone that the Foreign Office see no objection to this reply?
