shipped per se "Bulow" from Lamburg to Hongkong on the 21st

July 1914. In consideration of this our above advance the

said goods were placed under Lien to us,

In May 1915 we escurta Ined that the ss "Bulow"

carrying the said goods, was sheltering at Lisbon, and we

forwarded the respective shipping doctments to our corres-

pondents at that port, with instructions to obtain delivery

of the watches, and to reship them to their original destina-

tion, namely Hongkong. The resupment was effected on the

18th June 1915 by the se "C. Lopez & Lopez" of the Compania Transatlantica, Barcelona, to the order of Messrs. Alex. Ross

& Co.. Liquidators of Messrs. Wa. Meyerink & Co., Hongkong,

China. There being no regular direct liner to liongkong, the

goods had to be shipped by the above steamer to Manila, where they were traipsipped by steamer to liongkong.

We hear today from Messrs. Meyerink's Liquidators

that the Hongkong Goverment have seized the watches, and tint

unless we "can produce a licence or permission from the Iome
