In reply to your letter (13508) of the 31st ultimo, enclosing a copy of a despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong and of correspondence with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies with regard to the firm of Messrs Sanders Rehders, and Company, Limited, I am directed by Mr. Secretary McKerna to say that he has no information concerning Mesers Hermann Sanders, Max Oehme and Edmond John Carroll, the directors of the Company, and he agrees with Mr. Secretary Harcourt's suggestion that the matter be left to the Governor to deal with.
