The Under Secretary of State for Foreign
Affairs presents his compliments to the Secretary to
the Colonial Office and transmits to him herewith, for
the secret information of the Secretary of State for
the Colonies, the accompanying copies of telegrams
which have been exchanged with His Majesty's Minister
in Peking respecting a suggestion that German subjects
should be expelled from Foreign Concessions in China.
Sir A.Nicolson requests that, should it be
desired to transmit copies of these telegrams to the
Governor of Hongkong, they may be communicated to His
Excellency for his personal and confidential informa-
tion only.
