I am directed by Secretary Sir E, Grey to transmit
to you herewith in original a letter from Messrs. Gysi and Kleinjung Limited with regard to the treatment which
one of their directors, Mr. Waldemar Kleinjung, is
alleged to have undergone at Hong Kong.
As this appears to be a matter appertaining to the
Colonial Office, Sir E. Grey would be glad if Mr. Secretary Bonar Law would cause a reply to be sent direct to Messrs. Gysi and Kleinjung, the receipt of whose letter
has been acknowledged.
