dealing with the question. So far, the Goverment of

India have not apparently felt justified in taking

direct setion to study the question on the spot but a

sufficient time has not yet elapsed for a reply to be

received to my despatch of the 30th of June last.

I propose in future to send to Your Excellency

copies of all important communications which I may

address to the Foreign Office on this subject and I

shall be extremely grateful for any assistance or

cooperation which you may be able to afford me in

watching the movements and checking the seditious

tendencies of a section of Indians in the Far East.
